Confessions of a Coffee Addict

This post is also available in: Romรขnฤƒ (Romanian)

I am Cristina and I am a coffee addict. I love coffee. I love its flavour. I love its taste. It is my supreme pleasure in the morning. It helps me open my eyes, it gives me energy and helps me start the day without killing someone first thing in the morning. ๐Ÿ™‚

Coffee is controversial.

While some admit its priceless benefits, there are other specialists that recommend giving up drinking coffee, guaranteeing its long-term benefits, such as:

1. You’ll feel calmer.
I am extremely calm waiting for my coffee, very calm while I savor it and really zen afterwards.
Taking this pleasure away from me makes me an aggressive person. ๐Ÿ™‚

2. You will sleep much better.
If you forbid my morning coffee, we’ll both end up sleepless, because I will haunt you! Just sayin ‘:)

3. Your skin will look more radiant and hydrated.
Coffee acts as a powerful diuretic, which means it can make your skin look dehydrated. Which is why I could carry a hose connected to water rather than giving up coffee. ๐Ÿ™‚

4. You’ll have a flatter abdomen.
I know that cappuccino contains milk and calories. Many calories. I know it increases blood sugar levels, which would later develop into fat. But Oana is killing me no matter what, so I’d rather faint with a happy smile on my face when she yells “50 more!!!!!”

5. Your Teeth will look flawless.
Coffee prone to tartar. Caffeine is acidic, so that will affect tooth enamel over time, if you exagerate with coffee. Can we negociate 2 cups / day? ๐Ÿ™‚

6. It improves your health.
Women have this fear of osteoporosis after a certain age. If I say that age is just a number to me, I would seem arrogant. So I will say that my mental health is as important, so…can I have another cappuccino, please? ๐Ÿ™‚
