Even though he is a colorful eccentric in his own personal style, Gary Bigeni’s womenswear is the opposite, combining fluid draping with luxurious fabrics and vivid coloring for a contemporary, and elegant yet relaxed feel.
His first focus was minimalist draped jersey, but he evolved to including stripes, leather and also striped classic pieces with a clean, everyday aesthetic.
After signing a contract with Spanx at Australian Fashion Week, his effort to assist women in choosing the correct foundation garments was highly appreciated. It was then that he introduced silk in his collections.
His collections are mostly made in Australia from natural fibers, and use recyclable packaging.
